Pictures from my travels and wanderings

Stari Most

A view from above of Stari Most; one of the most iconic buildings in the beautiful old city of Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. A sight that is often photographed simply because of how amazing it is. I also did not refrain and so took this. We were on a passing visit while driving from Split down to Dubrovnik. The city is still beautiful though in many places it shows the scars of battle. Many of the walls marked yet with the bullets of a conflict that tore through the Balkans after the breakup of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
